Restoring a fine Victorian floor at St. John the Evangelist, Langrish, near Petersfield. This Grade 1 listed building boasted a fine Minton floor installed in 1870 when the church was built. It was looking worn and tired and we restored it to as near as possible to its original condition.

Restoring Purbeck Marble.

Restoring a black Purbeck marble floor from 1820 at a farmhouse near Wimborne, Dorset. This rare limestone, last quarried in 1993, is typically laid in large flags several inches deep. We used diamond pads to smooth out the fine scratches and remove ground-in dirt before sealing the next day with LTP Colour Intensifier and Stain Block. Clients delighted with results.

Terracotta

Cleaning and sealing terracotta tiles in Sway, Hampshire. Tiles were damaged by oven cleaner. I removed the damaged boiled linseed sealant using Mylands Perfecta Stripper followed by Evans Sure Strip high alkaline cleaner. Back to re-seal tomorrow when dry. For sealing I will use a base of Tile Doctor “Seal and Finish” followed by a coat of LTP Stone Oil
